Been giving a lot of thought to what we should play... some rolling UK funky & 130, some of that re/nu dark swing vibe, maybe some synthy/grime stuff, some of sully's juke selection, some of the dubs Dusk & I have made but not played on radio... or maybe a selection of all the above.

ReplyDeleteWe're not headlining because Loefah is a don, melé is traveling from afar, Elijah & skilliam are big in the game these days & FWD>> management really liked the first set we played in January. Personally I'm still honoured we're asked again to play the place that inspired us.

ReplyDeleteReally looking forward to it - your Lata and Crackle Blues and Burial's remix was a revelation at the time (with the red chilli powder on the label - just banged it on again, sounds great!) but never had the pleasure of hearing you play out. Pollywog obviously hasn't been to FWD>> for a while - whole fantastic mix of London bass sounds; don't be stuck in a small hole, get out and enjoy it all.
